  1. Can I create images from what I see in Atlas?
  2. You have different options and programs to capture what you see on the screen and create an image. To do this, you can simply use the “Print Screen” button on your computer keyboard or use the following programmes: Xn-View or Ultra-Snap.

  3. Is it possible to represent more than one indicator at a time on the maps?
  4. No. The chromatic maps and the graphs only give the option of choosing a single indicator. However, in the section for obtaining data we have the possibility of downloading all the information for a territory or the variables that we want at the same time.

  5. Can I insert information at district level? In other words, in a unit which is smaller than a town?
  6. Towns are the smallest territorial unit in Atlas. There is no option to insert information on a smaller scale to use the Atlas application. Atlas’s breakdown level is as follows:
    municipality / borough / province / administration / Euskal Herria. There is also the possibility of a European Union level view.

  7. Are the more indicators in addition to those relating to society and the economy?
  8. Aside from the indicators on floor space use, all those compiled in Atlas are social-economic data. This data falls within Gaindegia’s study field. However, one of the most interesting options in Atlas is that, by means of a system of codes, each user can insert their own data and thereby create new images and personalise the application offered by Atlas.

  9. Atlas compiles many indices. Does all this information exist for all the territories in the same way? ?
  10. Atlas’s indicators are organised in the following way: socio-demographic indicators, macro-economic indicators, sustainability indicators, number of companies and establishments and floor space use.

    The macro-economic indices can be consulted at a European level. The rest of the indicators are compiled in different breakdown levels.
    municipality / borough / province / administration / Basque Country and they cannot be consulted at a European level.

  11. Can I print, edit or save the graphs generated by Atlas?
  12. As with images generated by Atlas, there is no specific application to edit, print or save the graphs but there are many options to obtain the image required. Using, for example, the “Print Screen” button on your computer keyboard or using the following programmes: Xn-View or Ultra-Snap.
    The editing buttons which are operative on the toolbar cannot be used to edit the graphs or to write on them.

  13. Do I need a special permit to be able to use the data and images from Atlas?
  14. Just give the www.atlasa.net website in the documentation or place where Atlas is used as a source.
